Lazio turn to Felipe Anderson and Ciro Immobile as they look to defeat Sampdoria at the Stadio Olimpico and close the gap on Roma in the race for Champions League qualification.

A stunning come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Fiorentina last time out sees Lazio remain just three points off their city rivals, but they will be without the man that sparked that impressive turnaround in Florence, Luis Alberto.

The Spaniard, who scored a brace in the victory, is suspended for an accumulation of yellow cards and joins Alessandro Murgia in the stands, after the midfielder was sent off.

Anderson steps in for Luis Alberto and joins top scorer Ciro Immobile up front, whilst Marco Parolo replaces Murgia in a midfield trio with Lucas Leiva and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Stefan Radu, Stefan De Vrij and Martin Caceres continue in defence.

Sampdoria’s blistering start to the season has tailed off somewhat, but the Blucerchiati are still in the mix for a Europa League spot.

Duvan Zapata and Gianluca Caprari lead the line in front of Gaston Ramirez, whilst Lucas Torreira, Dennis Praet and Edgar Barreto make up a three man midfield.

Ivan Strinic is afforded a rare start in the absence of the injured Nicolas Murru at left-back.

Sampdoria: Viviano; Bereszynski, Ferrari, Andersen, Strinic; Torreira, Praet, Barreto; Ramirez; Caprari, Zapata
