Valencia striker Simone Zaza is on the radar of AC Milan, who have discussed a potential move for the player with his agent this week.

Since departing Serie A to join Valencia (after an unsuccessful spell with West Ham), the 26-year-old has enjoyed a revival of his fortunes in Spanish football.

That has been enough to capture the attention of the Rossoneri, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who held a meeting with the player’s agent Giuseppe Bozzo on Wednesday at Casa Milan.

Zaza recently made his move from Juventus to Valencia permanent and the club have shown no indication that they are looking to offload him during the summer.

However, the former Sassuolo man would not be against a return to his homeland when the transfer window reopens, coming off the back of a campaign in which he has scored 12 times in 26 days.

Zaza is not the only name on Massimiliano Mirabelli’s transfer wish list though and Ciro Immobile, Andrea Belotti and Radamel Falcao have all been linked with the Diavolo too.
