Talk of Alvaro Morata returning to Italy this summer is increasing after the Chelsea striker was seen enjoying the company of Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan on Wednesday.

Although the pair may have remained friends since the 25-year-old’s two year spell in Turin, the presence of the Spaniard’s agent Juanma Lopez in via Montenapoleone did not go unnoticed.

However, while the former Real Madrid frontman may yearn for a reunion with the Old Lady, La Gazzetta dello Sport, report that finding an agreement between the two clubs remains difficult.

While coach Antonio Conte’s expected departure from the London club will remove one hurdle, owner Roman Abramovich is expected to want to recoup much of the €80 million paid for his services 12 months ago.

To finance a deal Juventus will look to offload winger Juan Cuadrado, with the club committed to several more payments of his loan agreement, but would also consider selling Gonzalo Higuain.

Despite becoming a vital part of the Bianconeri first team, recent enquires from Paris Saint-Germain have highlighted that the 30-year-old could still command a fee of around €60 million in the current market.

After losing his place in the Spanish national team ahead of the 2018 World Cup, Morata would jump at the chance to rediscover his form back in Turin, regardless of how the deal has to be funded.
