As a lifelong AC Milan supporter now living his first team dream, Patrick Cutrone has revealed his fantastic first memory of being at Milanello, when he bumped into a club legend.

The Como native has been on the books of the Rossoneri since the age of eight, joining the club in 2006 before going on to make his debut over a decade later.

In an interview with Milan TV, he has reflected back on his early memories of his first years at the club within their youth ranks and has paid tribute to all of those who helped him along the way to the first team.

“I remember that the first great player I saw when I arrived at Milan was Paolo Maldini because his son Christian also played for the team and he came to collect him,” he said.

“I was so excited and I asked him for his autograph. He asked me questions but I couldn’t even answer him because I was so excited!

“But I owe everything I have to the coaches in the youth sector. Everyone gave me something different and helped me reach this point. They believed in me so much and I have to thank them so much for what they did to me.”
