Although there is still the matter of a UEFA hearing hanging over the club, AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso has insisted they have their plans in place for the summer.
On June 19, the Rossoneri will learn their fate after a court date in Nyon and their punishment for breaking Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Despite those worries, Gattuso discussed his hopes for the summer and the future briefly as he prepared to fly out to Russia to take on several World Cup games with the club’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli.
“It is always a great event and we are going out to take in some matches and then we’ll come back. But in terms of the market, we know what we have to do this summer,” Gattuso told Sky Sport Italia.
“I want to have the best possible preparation for the new season and we must look forward to it with great enthusiasm. I’ll go on holiday with my family for a few weeks and then we will be back and eager to get started.”
The Diavolo’s season is set to start a little earlier in July, given their participation in next season’s Europa League.
