Radja Nainggolan has completed his summer switch from Roma to Inter, joining the Milanese club on a four-year contract in a players plus cash deal.

It brings an end to the 30-year-old’s four and a half year stay in the Eternal City, with the move seeing two players move to the Giallorossi as a result.

Inter have paid a fee of €24 million for the Belgian’s services, while defender Davide Santon and teenage midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo have went in the opposite direction.

“Radja Nainggolan is officially an Inter player,” read a club statement on Tuesday to announce the deal. “He has signed a contract with the Nerazzurri that runs until June 30, 2022.”

After putting pen to paper on that contract, the former Cagliari midfielder sat down with Inter TV to discuss the move and revealed his message for the supporters, who welcomed him in massive numbers on Sunday when he arrived in the city.

“Seeing how they welcomed me here, I hope that they can continue to support the squad in the same manner. We can do well in the league and also in the Champions League,” he said.

“Inter have an important history behind them and we must now return to playing our part in Europe.”
