Daniele Rugani could be on his way to Chelsea this summer after his agent met with Juventus director Fabio Paratici on Thursday.
The 23-year-old is a favourite of Maurizio Sarri, and with the Italian expected to take over at Stamford Bridge, the two could finally cross paths after the Bianconeri refused to sell the defender to Napoli.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Rugani’s agent, Davide Torchia, met with Paratici in Milan on Thursday and brought forward news of Chelsea’s interest in his client.
While an offer has not been made as of yet, it’s believed the Italian is open to a move after failing to establish himself as a starter since returning to the club after a successful loan spell at Empoli from 2013 to 2015.
Last season Rugani netted two goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for Juventus.
