As midfielder Jorginho edges closer to a move to Premier League champions Manchester City, Napoli have lined up three possible replacements for the Brazilian-born Italian international.
The Partenopei were known to be keen on fellow Serie A midfielder Lucas Torreira, but the Uruguayan is also on his way to England after Sampdoria agreed a deal with Arsenal.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A runners-up are considering moves for Stanislav Lobotka of Celta Vigo, Bayern Munich’s Sebastien Rudy or Milan Badelj who has left Fiorentina after his contract expired.
The favourite is Slovakian international Lobotka after a wonderful campaign in La Liga last term, while Rudy could be looking to get away from the German champions after a bit-part role with the Bundesliga club.
Badelj would appear to be third-choice, but is certainly the financially most rewarding option if he could arrive for free and fill the void left by Jorginho who is expected to generate €50 million from his sale.
