Lazio officials are set with a meeting with their West Ham counterparts in Rome next week as the London club aim to complete the signing of Felipe Anderson.

The Hammers have appointed former Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini as the new man charge at the club and he is a long-time admirer of the Brazilian forward, who has now been at the Stadio Olimpico for five years.

According to the Guardian, Pellegrini is keen for the club to sign Anderson after they have effectively been forced to admit defeat in their move for former Palermo man Javier Pastore due to his wage demands.

As a result, they are set for a meeting with the Aquile next week in the Eternal City as they aim to convince Lazio into selling one of their prized assets during the summer window.

It is reported that West Ham are willing to offer €35 million plus bonuses to tempt Simone Inzaghi’s men into selling and after talks between Anderson’s entourage and the club on Thursday, it was confirmed that they are open to selling for the right price.

Monaco and Chelsea are also credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who still managed a return of eight goals and 10 assists this season despite starting just 15 games in all competitions.
