Nikola Kalinic’s time at AC Milan could be nearing a conclusion as reports indicate he has agreed terms with Atletico Madrid.

The former Fiorentina man struggled last season, and the Rossoneri haven’t hidden their desire to get rid of the 30-year-old.

Sportitalian reports Kalinic has agreed to a deal that will see him earn €3 million a season with the Spanish giants.

While it’s unclear what the transfer fee will look like, it’s believed Milan have already agreed to let him leave on loan with an obligation to buy.

Kalinic’s move would open the door for Simone Zaza to join the Rossoneri from Valencia, while Kevin Gameiro is expected to leave Los Colchoneros and fill the void left by the Italian.

Last season Kalinic managed just six goals in 31 Serie A appearances for Milan.
