With Felipe Anderson set for West Ham United, it appears Lazio have made Stoke City star and Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri their top priority.
The Brazilian was seen leaving Lazio’s training ground early on Tuesday amidst reports he is set to join the Hammers in a reported €40 million move.
Lazio are wasting no time in looking at potential replacements, and Calcionews24 reports Shaqiri is the top name being monitored.
The Swiss star featured for his national team at the World Cup this summer, and with Stoke City recently relegated from the Premier League, it’s believed a bid of €17m would be needed to secure his signature.
One potential stumbling block could be Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, as the German tactician is keen to secure the winger’s signature.
Other names being looked at by Lazio include Arsenal’s Joel Campbell, River Plate’s Gonzalo Martinez and Atalanta’s Papu Gomez.
