Juventus’ attempts to bring Matteo Darmian remain at a standstill after seeing their latest bid turned down by Manchester United.

The reigning Serie A champions continue to search for ways to improve their squad despite landing Cristiano Ronaldo for €100 million, and their sights remain firmly on the Italian full-back.

Calcionews24 reports director Fabio Paratici recently met with Darmian’s agent Tullio Tinti in Milan, however the bid they presented wasn’t enough for United.

The English giants remain steadfast in their €20m valuation of the full-back, and as a result the €13m offer presented by Juve was quickly turned down.

As a result, Darmian’s future remains unclear amidst reports Napoli and Inter are also keen to bring the former Torino player back to Serie A.

Darmian has netted once in 85 appearances for United since joining from the Granata in 2015.
