Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be one step closer to joining Juventus after Real Madrid and his agent agreed to the terms of a move, according to reports in Spain.

The Italian champions have been the side strongest linked with a move for his services this summer, after the Portugal international announced his intent to depart the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

According to Spanish publication MARCA, a meeting was held in Madrid on Wednesday night between club president Florentino Perez, Jose Angel Sanchez and Ronaldo’s representative Jorge Mendes.

The Real star’s future was the only topic of conversation and it was agreed between both parties that if an offer of €100 million comes in for the player, then the Champions League holders would agree to his sale.

Mendes believes that he will be able to bring that offer to the club on behalf of Juventus, who Ronaldo is already focused on joining on a four-year deal.

The club and Ronaldo’s entourage are also hopeful for an amicable summer split and both parties left the meeting with the mindset that the Real forward will end up in Turin next season.
