A meeting between representatives of AC Milan patron the Elliott Management Corporation and Lazio president Claudio Lotito has reportedly materialised in northern Italy about Aquile midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The 23-year-old Serbian international has also been linked with the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, and Manchester United but Rossoneri sporting director Leonardo is eager to lure him to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

CalcioNews24 report that discussions took place at the Cortina d’Ampezzo ski resort in the Veneto region between Lotito and the Milan representatives and the Lazio owner reiterated that he wants at least €120 million for the Serbian midfielder.

The Diavolo tried to include either Giacomo Bonaventura, Riccardo Montolivo, or Fabio Borini in the deal but the Biancocelesti president refused to involve any players in the acquisition.

If a deal is to be struck between the two clubs, it is likely that Milan will pay Lazio €40m to bring Milinkovic-Savic on loan and then have the option to purchase him outright for €80m.
