With two goals and an inspiring performance that helped Napoli overturn a two-goal deficit to beat AC Milan 3-2 on Saturday evening, Piotr Zielinski is the Forza Italian Football Player of the Week for round two of Serie A.

The Pole looks as though he can be an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli side, with Marek Hamsik’s old position needing filling as he drops into the void left by Jorginho’s exit.

Zielinski was one of the main reasons for the Partenopei’s glorious comeback at the Stadio San Paolo and would be hard to argue against his selection as the best player from the weekend’s action.

Having been used primarily as a substitute for Hamsik in recent seasons under Maurizio Sarri, it now seems as though Ancelotti will use him from the start every week, with Zielinski and Allan seemingly the key cogs in his midfield three this term.
