Juventus full-back Alex Sandro has made it clear he wants to remain with the Bianconeri, though he’s admitted talks over a new contract haven’t begun.

The Brazilian was linked with moves to Manchester United and PSG over the summer, but in the end the Italian giants opted to keep the highly rated left-back.

With two years remaining on his contract, Sandro has revealed talks over a new contract haven’t begun, though he is keen to continue his career in Turin.

“I’ve never considered leaving Juventus,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “New contract? I haven’t received an offer from the club.

“I still have two years remaining on my deal, but my focus is on the field, on the present, and then we’ll see what happens.”

Juventus defeated Valencia 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday despite seeing Cristiano Ronaldo sent off, and Sandro pointed out the Portuguese star is ready to make amends.

“It was a team win in Valencia and that is our strength,” he added. “Cristiano has brought us quality.

“I am getting to know him and understand his movements, how he likes to receive the ball. I think I can provide him some assists.

“He’s been motivated since Valencia. He wants to bounce back.”

Juventus take on Frosinone on Sunday in Serie A action.
