Inter host Cagliari at the San Siro looking for their third consecutive win in Serie A, as coach Luciano Spalletti makes a raft of changes.

The Nerazzurri beat Fiorentina in their midweek game, whilst Cagliari drew home against Sampdoria. Inter have won each of their last three Serie A games against the Rossoblu, scoring a total of 12 goals in the process, but have only won one of their last five games at home against the Sardinian side.

Captain Mauro Icardi is rested in favour of Lautaro Martinez, who makes his first start of the season, just like Borja Valero. Marcelo Brozovic and Kwadwo Asamoahare both benched, along with Ivan Perisic.

Cagliari haven’t won in three games and Rolando Maran makes some changes to his usual starting eleven, with Paolo Faragò, Marco Andreolli and Daniele Dessena all starting. Leonardo Pavoletti leads the line up front, partnered by Marco Sau.

Inter: Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Miranda, De Vrij, Dalbert; Gagliardini, Borja Valero; Politano, Nainggolan, Candreva; Lautaro Martinez.

Cagliari: Cragno; Srna, Andreolli, Klavan, Faragò; Dessena, Bradaric, Barella; Ionita; Sau, Pavoletti.
