Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is on Inter’s radar after a fine performance during their recent clash.
The Nerazzurri took all three points thanks to a 2-1 victory on Tuesday evening, with Danilo D’Ambrosio netting the winner.
While Inter were certainly happy to claim the result, La Nazione reports it also gave sporting director Piero Ausilio the chance to watch Milenkovic from close.
The Serbian has impressed so far this campaign, as his performances have been eye catching whether fielded as a central defender or right-back by coach Stefano Pioli.
As a result, the Nerazzurri are already sounding out plans to make a move for the 20-year-old next summer.
Milenkovic joined Fiorentina from Partizan Belgrade in May 2017 for €5.1 million. He made 16 Serie A appearances all of last season, but he has featured in all of the Viola’s six matches so far this campaign – netting twice in the process.
