Juventus have extended the contract of midfielder Sami Khedira, tying the Germany international to the club until June 2021.
The 31-year-old joined the Italian champions three years ago from Real Madrid but that deal had been due to expire at the end of the current campaign, prompting Juventus to act swiftly.
On Wednesday, the Bianconeri confirmed the renewal, announcing that Khedira has put pen to paper on a two year extension, having been linked with the likes of Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
During his three years at the club, Khedira has won the Scudetto in each season, while also helping the Old Lady in a run to the Champions League final.
I just extended my contract at @Juventusfc until 2021. Since my first day I’ve had a special feeling and it quickly felt like home here. I’m very proud to be a part of the great history of the club and of the Juventus family. Let’s continue to make black and white history ???????? pic.twitter.com/Cz5Fk7oZPn

Since joining the Turin giants in 2015 from Los Blancos, the World Cup winner has also played more minutes for the club than any other player during that span, clocking in 8,882 in all competitions during that time frame.
