Both Parma and Cagliari will be hoping to put more points on the board when they go head-to-head at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Saturday afternoon with the pair having enjoyed mixed starts to this Serie A season.

The Sardinians have, perhaps surprisingly, suffered defeat just once this season and currently occupy 12th place with five points from their opening four matches.

Meanwhile, the Gialloblu will also take hope from their start to the season as they sit on four points having drawn against Udinese and beaten Inter last time out at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

History bodes well for the hosts and Parma have lost just two of their 19 Serie A matches against Cagliari, winning 12 and drawing five of those.

All is not lost for the travelling side though as they are unbeaten in their last three; they have not put together four matches without defeat in the top flight in almost five years, or more precisely since January 2014.

Parma: Sepe, Iacoponi, Dimarco, Stulac, Barilla, Di Gaudio, Bruno Alves, Gervinho, Gagliolo, Rigoni, Inglese.

Cagliari: Cragno; Srna, Romagna, Klavan, Lykogiannis; Ionita, Bradaric, Barella; Joao Pedro; Cerri, Sau.
