Javier Pastore is dealing with a calf problem, ruling him out for Roma’s upcoming matches against Chievo and Real Madrid.

The Giallorossi landed the Argentine from PSG for €24.7 million this summer, and he has so far repaid them with a goal in two Serie A appearances.

He won’t be adding to that tally in the near future, as Sky Sport Italia reports Pastore trained on his own on Thursday due to a calf problem.

After being looked at Villa Stuart, the Argentine has been ruled out for Roma’s match with Chievo on Sunday.

The bad news doesn’t stop there for coach Eusebio Di Francesco, as the issue is expected to keep Pastore out of the Giallorossi’s opening Champions League match with Real Madrid on Wednesday.

While one Argentine will watch from the sidelines, there was some good news with word that Diego Perotti has returned to full training, making him available for this weekend’s match with the Flying Donkeys.
