Serie A is back with an interesting Friday night game, as Sassuolo host Empoli at the Mapei Stadium, looking to get back to winning ways.

The Neroverdi lost to Juventus last week, but coach Roberto De Zerbi will want to continue entertaining the fans at home with another victory.

Points are also needed for Empoli, who lost home to Lazio and seek their first away win of the season.

Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli will have to do without Luca Antonelli once again at left back, but the big change is up front with Antonino La Gumina lining up next to Francesco Caputo, with Miha Zajc in the hole behind them and Rade Krunic sitting deeper in midfield.

Sassuolo have the best attack in Serie A – along with Juventus and Sampdoria – having netted nine goals, and De Zerbi had gone with his best attacking trio as Kevin Prince Boateng, Domenico Berardi and Khouma Babacar lead the line.

Sassuolo: Consigli; Lirola, Marlon, Ferrari, Rogerio; Duncan, Locatelli, Sensi; Berardi, Boateng, Di Francesco.

Empoli: Terracciano; Di Lorenzo, Silvestre, Maietta, Veseli; Acquah, Capezzi, Krunic; Zajc; Caputo, La Gumina.
