He is not always granted a place in the Napoli starting XI, but Arkadiusz Milik showed against Parma on Wednesday evening exactly what he can bring to this Partenopei side.

Not for the first time this season the Pole showed his importance, scoring two goals as Carlo Ancelotti’s side brushed the Gialloblu aside, earning him the honour of being named Forza Italian Football Player of the Week for round six.

Although Luigi Sepe’s positioning can be questioned on his second, Milik showed that he has an eye for goal, even though he has not played as regularly as he would have liked this season.

All he can do for now is to take his chances when they come and he is showing that Ancelotti can rely on him to lead the line, be it in a 4-4-2, a 4-3-3 or even a 4-2-3-1.

After an injury-plagued season last term, Milik will no doubt be hoping to stay injury free as he looks to force his way into Napoli’s plans on a more consistent basis.
