Juventus strolled to an easy 3-0 win over Young Boys in their second Champions League Group H match of the season, and coach Massimiliano Allegri feels his side are getting better after each game.

Ronaldo was suspended for the game after his red card against Valencia, but it mattered not as Dybala’s first hat-trick in the competition gave Bianconeri three points in front of 40,000 fans at the Allianz Stadium.

“The team played well and took the game very seriously,” Allegri told the press. “After the match with Napoli, there could have been a drop in concentration, but instead they scored an early goal, and continued where they left off.

“If I can say one thing, we need to score more goals as this can be the decisive factor in making first place. They players did well though, and are always improving.”

With Ronaldo missing, Juventus continued their winning form thanks to Dybala to make it nine wins from the nine matches they have played this season.

“It isn’t a question of getting some kind of agreement between the two – Ronaldo and Dybala – players,” Allegri went on. In the first game against Chievo, in the first half, the team did well without playing with a central striker.

“The advantage of having a player like Mandzukic, is that the others have more of a chance to create. Dybala had a great performance, as he did against Bologna.

“When he plays in that position, he is good at finishing the plays, and today he managed it well, always starting moves from deep. He’s improving a lot, and we have to make the most of all the players we have, given the size of the squad.

“It isn’t the first time I have said, but Bernardeschi has improved a lot. He started on the right then started drifting into the areas like Dybala.

“He had two chances in the second half, in which he had to do better. That makes me a little angry. But he had a good game, as did Cuadrado.”
