Inter defender Milan Skriniar is on Barcelona’s radar, with reports suggesting they are ready to spend €84 million to secure his services.

The Blaugrana could be without Samuel Umtiti for quite some time, as the Frenchman is dealing with a knee injury that could sideline him for months rather than weeks.

As a result coach Ernesto Valverde has asked for more options when it comes to his backline, and SME reports Skriniar tops the list of potential targets.

The Slovakian has established himself as a key figure for the Nerazzurri since joining from Sampdoria in the summer of 2017, and it’s reported Barcelona would be willing to pay €84m to secure his services.

It remains unlikely Inter would consider the bid, as coach Luciano Spalletti has made Skriniar a key figure at the heart of his defence, and with the club in the Champions League this season, the 23-year-old will be counted on heavily.

Skriniar netted four times in 38 appearances for Inter last season.
