AC Milan forward Fabio Borini has warned that his teammates are brimming with confidence ahead of their Derby della Madonnina showdown with city rivals Inter on Sunday evening.
The versatile Italian sounded a rallying cry after a period of good form for the Rossoneri before the international break and admitted he would go wild if he were to score a decider in the match.
“We are confident thanks to our most recent performances and a league position that can help us look upwards,” the former Liverpool man told Milan TV ahead of kick-off.
“It is a match that can mean a lot for us, but regardless of this, we have to always keep working hard.
“I would give everything to score the winner in the derby tonight! If I did, I would go absolutely crazy!”
Borini, who has not scored since the opening day of the season, begins from the bench against Inter.
