Matteo Politano is predicting a tight but memorable Derby della Madonnina on Sunday, as his Inter side take on AC Milan.
The winger is set to feature in his first derby since arriving from Sassuolo in the summer, and confessed to being caught up in the excitement of the occasion.
“It is a game that is worth three points, just like all the others,” Politano told Inter TV. “We are preparing for it as we would any other match.
“It it clear though that as a derby, it will be a different challenge.
“It’s my first derby and it is a beautiful feeling for me. I’m so excited and can’t wait for Sunday. The derby feeling is in the air and I hope it will continue into the match.”
Inter go into the clash off the back of four league victories and sit third in Serie A, whilst Milan are just four points behind with a game in hand, with the game too close to call at www.Bettingsites.ng.
“We are both going through good spells at the moment and it will be a very balanced match,” 25-year-old Politano continued.
“The fans are exceptional and we are proud to take to the pitch in front of all those people. We hope to make them happy on the pitch on Sunday.”
