Italy coach Roberto Mancini might be forced into making changes to his Azzurri squad as AC Milan duo Patrick Cutrone and Alessio Romagnoli have fitness concerns hanging over them.

The 20-year-old striker has been battling ankle problems for a few weeks and Rossoneri tactician Gennaro Gattuso has used him as a substitute in recent fixtures, while the 23-year-old defender was not selected for the 3-1 victory against Chievo but he still has still reported to the national team base at Coverciano.

Il Corriere della Sera report that Mancini could replace Cutrone with Torino striker Andrea Belotti if his ankle is not 100 per cent and Romagnoli could be omitted if he cannot fully recover from a muscular injury.

Italy will play against Ukraine in a friendly in Genoa on Wednesday evening and then face Poland away in their following Nations League fixture in Group 3 on Saturday night in Chorzow.
