Genoa’s Krzysztof Piatek has continued his breathtaking start to the 2017/18 season on his competitive Poland debut as he opened the scoring in their 3-2 defeat against Portugal on Thursday evening on his competitive debut for his country.
In Serie A the Pole has scored in each of his seven appearances, while he also bagged four in a Coppa Italia fixture.

Piatek only arrived in Genoa this past summer, but his time at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris already looks limited and Juventus and Barcelona are just a couple of the clubs reportedly interested in his services.
Averaging a goal every 53 minutes for the Grifone in all competitions, Piatek himself is responsible for nine of their 12 Serie A strikes this season.
For club and country, Piatek now has 14 for the season, more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.
