Inter have targeted Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen and Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen should Miranda leave during the January transfer window.
The Brazilian has found himself lower down the pecking order this season due to the arrival of Stefan de Vrij, as the former Lazio man has firmly entrenched himself alongside Milan Skriniar.
Sky Sport Italia reports Miranda has asked to leave Inter in January should a suitable offer arrive, and the Nerazzurri have already singled out two names to replace him.
One is Christensen, who has also found playing time hard to come by at Chelsea. The Danish international has only made one Premier League appearance so far this season.
The other candidate is Andersen, who has made a name for himself at Sampdoria since joining from Twente in 2017.
Previous reports suggested Inter were already in talks regarding a summer move for the 22-year-old, but Miranda’s departure would likely speed up those discussions.
Andersen has featured in all 16 of Sampdoria’s Serie A matches this season.
