Former Napoli and Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini could be set to leave Southampton this winter transfer window in order to join Fiorentina.

Despite interest from other respective sides on the peninsula, La Nazione claims the Italian is bound for Florence, with La Viola prepared to sign the forward on loan with a right of redemption.
Gabbiadini would relish the chance to prove himself once again in his country of birth, with Southampton prepared to listen to offers in the region of €15 million.
The only potential stumbling block would be the player’s wages, which Fiorentina are prepared to spread out over a long-term contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Fiorentina have struggled for goals so far this campaign, with star forward Giovanni Simeone falling behind midfielder Marco Benassi in the club’s scoring chart in the league.
