As they bid to bolster their squad ahead of the season run-in, Genoa are keen to bring in Juventus wing-back Leonardo Spinazzola on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

The Rossoblu have had a disappointing start to the season and find themselves embroiled in a relegation battle, currently sitting just above the relegation zone.

That has necessitated the need for winter reinforcements and according to Il Secolo XIX, Genoa have already enquired about the availability of the 25-year-old and are keen to sign him on a temporary basis.

Spinazzola has recently recovered from a worrying long-term injury but understandably, chances since gaining full fitness have been limited in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans.

As a result, a January loan would be ideal for all concerned as it would give the Italy international the opportunity to get regular minutes under his belt and the Old Lady are happy to allow him to depart on such a deal.

However, no move would be a permanent one or include such a purchase option as he is currently under contract in Turin until the summer of 2022.
