Young Boys striker Guillaume Hoarau predicts Juventus will lift the Champions League trophy as he believes the Old Lady never tire of winning.
The 34-year-old goalscorer scored twice in his side’s final Champions League group stage match against the Bianconeri, lifting them to an impressive victory despite finishing last in their group.
“It was one of the most beautiful evenings of my career, especially after the second goal,” Hoarau began in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Before the game, we said we had to be perfect, and we were thanks to our fans, Juventus is a crazy, wonderful team with a great mentality and great players like Cristiano Ronaldo.
“They never get tired of winning, their strength is in the sacrifice everyone makes to win.”
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker is hopeful of a meeting between PSG and Juventus in the final of the competition.
“I think Juventus will win the Champions League, but they need to take it one step at a time,” Hoarau continued.
“I hope they will meet my former team PSG for the final match.”
