Inter and West Ham United are reportedly in talks regarding a January move for Gabriel Barbosa.
The Brazilian has already been told by the Nerazzurri there is no room for him at the club, despite a successful loan spell at Santos that saw him net 18 goals in 35 league appearances.
Sky Sport Italia reports Inter haven’t wasted any time in trying to find Gabigol a new home, with West Ham favourites to land his signature.
The two teams are no stranger to one another, as Joao Mario joined the Hammers on loan last January before returning to the Giuseppe Meazza in the summer when his buy option wasn’t activated.
It’s believed a similar formula is being discussed for Gabigol, whose contract with Inter runs until 2021.
The Brazilian has never lived up to the €29.5 million price tag that the Nerazzurri paid Santos for his services in 2016.
He managed just one goal in nine Serie A appearances for Inter before joining Benfica in an unsuccessful loan spell, and then returning to Santos.
