AC Milan have identified a number of targets from Belgium’s Jupiter Pro League that could reinforce the squad in the January transfer window.

Key to their approach has been the ongoing speculation around the future of Hakan Calhanoglu, who could be on his way to Red Bull Leipzig before the end of the month.

The main focus thus far has been Club Brugge winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld according to Calciomercato.com, while Corriere della Sera understands Moussa Djenepo from Standard Liege is also under observation.

Groeneveld has adjusted well to life in Belgium following a summer switch from NEC Nijmegen, scoring five goals in 15 appearances before succumbing to an ankle injury in late October.

Djenepo has enjoyed a similarly fruitful campaign, scoring eight goals in 27 appearances, including three goals in the UEFA Europa League with two coming against group winners Sevilla.

Sportmediaset has also linked the Rossoneri with a move for KRC Genk youngster Edon Zhegrova, but the Kosovo international hasn’t garnered the same interest as Groeneveld and Djenepo.
