AC Milan are continuing their search for a winger and are preparing a move for Nice star Allan Saint-Maximin.

Having completed deals for Lucas Paqueta and Kryzsztof Piatek this transfer window, the Rossoneri are keen to bolster their ranks and provide greater competition out wide.

Previously linked with Belgium international Yannick Ferreira Carrasco and a return for Gerard Deulofeu, Tuttomercatoweb.com suggest that Milan are ready to move for 21-year-old Saint-Maximin.

The Diavolo have submitted an enquiry to the Ligue 1 club as they target an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer, and await a formal response from Nice.

A France U21 international, Saint-Maximin arrived at Nice from Monaco in 2017 off the back of a successful loan spell at Bastia and has scored seven goals in 63 appearances for the club.

Saint-Maximin began his career at Saint-Etienne and made 12 Ligue 1 appearances before joining Monaco in 2015.
