AC Milan are ready to make a significant investment in Bordeaux midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni before the end of the January transfer window.
The 18-year-old has already made a handful of appearances for the Ligue 1 side, including six in the league and nine in the UEFA Europa League so far this campaign.
With the club moving in a more youthful direction Corriere dello Sport understands Milan are prepared to offer €10 million in order to secure the player’s services.
Tchouameni has already been the subject of inquiry from cross-town rivals Inter, with the Rossoneri now considering other options having failed in their approach for Sassuolo’s Stefano Sensi.
Having reportedly secured Monaco full-back Leroy Abanda and Sporting Lisbon centre-back Tiago Djalo, the transfer policy at Milan has certainly become orientated around youthful additions.
Both players would join the club’s Primavera for the remainder of the season, while the suggestion is Tchouameni would do the same but still be available to coach Gennaro Gattuso.
