Juventus and the agent of Aaron Ramsey are set for talks to see if the Arsenal midfielder can join the Bianconeri in the January transfer window.
The Welshman is set to link up with Italian giants this summer on a free transfer, with reports indicating he has agreed on a five-year contract worth €6.5 million a season.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly such a big fan of Ramsey that he wants him within his ranks as soon as January, though Arsenal have so far been unwilling to discuss that possibility.
Corriere dello Sport reports Ramsey’s agent will be in Milan over the coming days for talks with Juventus directors in hopes of understanding whether a January move is possible.
So far the Gunners have slapped a €22m price tag on the midfielder. Ramsey’s agent is hopeful that should that figure be brought down, then there could be talks over an immediate switch.
Ramsey joined Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008 and has scored 61 goals in 353 appearances for the Gunners.
