Filippo Inzaghi looks set to be sacked as Bologna coach and the Rossoblu are ready to hand the reins to Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The 2018/19 season has been disastrous for Inzaghi, whose side have won just twice in Serie A, with the most recent of those coming on September 23 against Udinese, failing on 14 occasions since.

La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that another former AC Milan boss is already being lined up to succeed Inzaghi, with Mihajlovic waiting in the wings.

The 49-year-old is expected to be handed an initial six-month contract with an automatic renewal if he keeps Bologna in Serie A.

Should the Serbian get the job, he will reportedly demand more depth to the squad, specifically keen on bringing in a defender – namely Lorenzo Tonelli – as well as a winger and a midfielder.

Mihajlovic was previously coach at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara between 2008 and 2009.
