Juventus cemented their lead at the top of the Serie A table after beating Lazio in the final moments thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty. That, compounded with Napoli’s draw at AC Milan means the Bianconeri are now 11 point clear of their nearest rivals.

Elsewhere in Serie A, Inter crumbled at Torino, Roma lost a three-goal lead to eventually draw at Atalanta, while there were crucial wins for Fiorentina, Frosinone and SPAL.

Our Team of the Week will see the usual 3-4-3 formation deployed. Let us know your thoughts!

Wojciech Szczesny – Juventus (3 Team of the week appearances)
Kept Juve alive with at least three brilliant saves.

João Cancelo – Juventus (5 apps)
Came on in the second half and changed the face of the game, scoring the equaliser and winning the decisive penalty.

Armando Izzo – Torino
Impeccable at the back, as well as scoring the winning goal against Inter.

Mohamed Fares – SPAL
His first ever Serie A goal is a thing of beauty and worth three vital points.

Federico Chiesa – Fiorentina (3 apps)
Finally on the scoresheet, scoring twice and dominating in the second half, taking Fiorentina to the three points.

Francesco Magnanelli – Sassuolo
Extremely solid performance, being decisive in the opening goal and offering both protection at the back and quality going forward.

Cristian Ansaldi – Torino (4 apps)
Could it be that he played out of position for his entire career? The full back started at centre midfield once again, and once again delivered brilliantly for Torino.

Alejandro Gomez – Atalanta (2 apps)
A constant threat to Roma, always at the heart of Atalanta’s attack, with the leadership and the quality to guide his men in the second half to an incredible comeback.

Fabio Quagliarella – Sampdoria (7 apps)
Two goals to mark the 11-game scoring streak that makes him equal Gabriel Batistuta’s record.

Edin Dzeko – Roma (2 apps)
Finally back in business, with two lovely goals against one of the toughest opponents in the league.

Camillo Ciano – Frosinone
A brace to help Frosinone demolish Bologna.
