Torino have turned down a substantial offer from China for in-demand striker Andrea Belotti, as the Granata are determined to hold on to their man.

The Italian international had generated interest from Serie A rivals Roma, as well as Premier League clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but a huge approach from Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang was swiftly refuted.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Dalian submitted a bid of €60 million to land the striker, but it was swiftly rejected by Torino president Urbano Cairo.

Indeed, the Turin club have no interest in losing their captain and are ready to build their team around him, with Cairo confident of reaching the Europa League with Belotti in his ranks.

With Torino sitting in 10th in Serie A, officials at the club remain confident of mounting a push for European football and are determined to keep their top scorer.

Since arriving from Palermo in 2015, the 25-year-old has scored 62 goals in 129 appearances, whilst his 20 caps for Italy have yielded five goals.
