Sampdoria will be looking to take advantage of the unrest at Inter when they visit the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for their Sunday evening Serie A meeting.
Inter have won their last three Serie A meetings against Sampdoria and will be looking to make it four in a row against the Blucerchiati for the first time since 1985.
Goals tend to be a guarantee when these two meet in Milan, with both sides scoring in six of the last seven meetings between the pair at the Meazza. But, Inter’s Serie A games in 2019 have totalled just three goals – fewer than any other side in the Italian top tier.
Ex-captain Mauro Icardi will be missed by the Biscione, more so against his former club Samp than anyone else. The Genovese are the side against which the No.9 has had the best min/goals ratio (a goal every 85 mins), scoring 10 goals in 10 matches.
