A huge mural has appeared on the side of a building in Bergamo ahead of the Coppa Italia Final on Wednesday, depicting four faces from the Atalanta side who have been instrumental in the club’s successes this season.
Coach Gian Piero Gasperini and players Papu Gomez, Duvan Zapata and Josip Ilicic have all been immortalised in the artwork which has been erected over the past week.
The mural follows on from the one which appeared in Rome in honour of Lazio star Ciro Immobile with both pieces financed by the league ahead of the Coppa Italia final.
Atalanta defeated Fiorentina 5-4 on aggregate in the semis whilst their opponents Lazio overcame a stubborn Milan side 1-0 over two legs.
La Dea last reached the final of the Coppa Italia in 1996, where they were defeated by Fiorentina, and they last won the competition way back in 1963.
