Atletico Madrid are lining up a double swoop for Inter striker Mauro Icardi and Juventus forward Paolo Dybala if their attacking duo of Antoine Griezmann and Diego Costa leave in the summer.
Icardi’s future with the Nerazzurri has been less than certain following yet another high-profile fall out with the club this season, whilst Dybala’s position at the Bianconeri is also in doubt after a difficult year on the pitch.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Atleti are expecting a fresh bid from Barcelona for World Cup winner Griezmann and there is also interest in Diego Costa from France.
Dybala has experienced a relatively underwhelming season scoring just five goals and assisting four in 28 appearances in Serie A, whilst Icardi missed a significant portion of the season after he fell out with the hierarchy.
Atletico will look to take advantage of their respective situations and tempt them to Spain if their attacking pairing depart.
