Roma appear to be eyeing a move for former Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc after his representatives were spotted at the Stadio Olimpico for the Juventus match on Sunday.

The Giallorossi are on the hunt for a replacement after it was decided Claudio Ranieri would not stay on beyond the end of the season.

According to CalcioNews24, Roma’s No.1 target remains Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but they will look to Blanc if they are unable to prise him away from La Dea.

Several high-profile names have been linked with the job in recent weeks including Chelsea’s Maurizio Sarri, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, though there has yet to be any official confirmation of interest by either the club or the coaches in question.

Blanc began his coaching career at Bordeaux, where he won Ligue 1 in 2009, before a stint in charge of the French national side.

The 53-year-old most recently managed PSG between 2013-2016, winning three Ligue 1 titles in the process, but has been out of work since.
