Although he has spent nearly one season at Juventus, Bianconeri right-back Joao Cancelo could be sold to English club Manchester City, but that depends the future of Argentine forward Paulo Dybala and if he leaves the Italian giants.

The 24-year-old has scored one goal and provided eight assists in 33 competitive games for La Vecchia Signora and his offensive displays have impressed Citizens manager Pep Guardiola. However, Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly not convinced by his defensive qualities or lack of them.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cancelo could be sold for €60 million, just a year after Juventus acquired him from Spanish side Valencia €40m, and Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici would be satisfied should they receive that amount.

Despite that, the club must decide on the future of Dybala, who might be involved in a swap deal with Bayern Munich playmaker James Rodriguez.

Paratici would like to see if such a swap is profitable so they can use that extra money on a replacement for Cancelo and fund other transfers, while also meeting Financial Fair Play requirements.

Player agent Jorge Mendes would be thrilled with both transfers because James and Cancelo are his clients but he is yet to get the approval from Juventus president Andrea Agnelli.
