STADIO ARTEMIO FRANCHI (Florence) – Fiorentina host Genoa at the Stadio Franchi in the final match day of the 2018/19 Serie A, in what could well be a relegation six-pointer.
The Viola need a draw to make sure of their place in Serie A, whilst Genoa need a victory to have any hope of survival, but both will also keep an eye on what is happening at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza between Inter and Empoli.
Vincenzo Montella’s men are winless in 13 games, and have lost their last five Serie A matches, but they last lost six consecutive games in a single Serie A campaign back in 2001/02, when they were relegated to Serie B at the end of that season.
Cesare Prandelli returns to the Stadio Franchi this time on the opposition bench, after coaching Fiorentina between 2005 and 2010.
