Daniele De Rossi will pull on a Roma shirt for the final time when the capital club face Parma in their final game of the season with faint hopes of Champions League qualification still alive.

The Giallorossi skipper will bow out at the Stadio Olimpico 18 years after making his debut, after the Roma hierarchy controversially decided against offering him a new contract.

In order for Claudio Ranieri’s side to jump from sixth to fourth place, they will need to beat the Crociati and hope that Inter, AC Milan and Atalanta lose in their games against Empoli, SPAL and Sassuolo respectively.

History is on the side of the Lupi, as they have won 15 of their last 19 Serie A meetings with Parma, drawing three and losing just one, with their last defeat coming in October 2012.

Roma: Mirante; Florenzi, Jesus, Fazio, Kolarov; De Rossi, Pellegrini, El Shaarawy; Pastore, Perotti, Dzeko

Parma: Frattali; Iacoponi, Bruno Alves, Gagliolo, Gobbi; Dezi, Stulac, Kucka; Sprocati, Ceravolo, Gervinho.
