Napoli travel to Liverpool on Wednesday night with both teams needing a win to guarantee qualification from Champions League Group E.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are suffering somewhat, both on and off the field, having failed to win in six games and the players being fined between 25 and 25 percent of their salary by club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis.

This doesn’t bode well for the visitors as they head to Anfield for a showdown with the current European champions unbeaten in Europe since losing to Real Madrid – coached by Ancelotti himself – in October 2014.

The Azzurri have failed to win any of their previous nine games in England, whereas The Reds have historically done well when facing Italian opposition at home – the exception being a 2-1 defeat by Fiorentina in 2009.

Liverpool: Alisson; Gomez, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Milner; Salah, Firmino, Mane

Napoli: Meret, Maksimovic, Manolas, Koulibaly, Mario Rui, Di Lorenzo, Allan, Zielinski, Fabian, Mertens, Lozano
