After scoring twice for Torino in their 2-0 victory against Roma on Sunday night, Granata striker Andrea Belotti is now fifth on their list for most goals scored in Serie A.

The 26-year-old joined from Palermo in the summer of 2015 and since then he has been climbing up the scoring ranks with the northern Italian side.

Belotti is now on 72 league goals, six behind Il Grande Torino centre forward Guglielmo Gabetto.

The Granata captain still has a long way to reach Paolo Pulici for both goals scored in Serie A and in all competitions.

A hero of the 1975/76 scudetto-winning side, Pulici scored 172 times in competitive games including 134 in the Italian league.

Currently Belotti is equal ninth overall for goals in all competitions alongside Franco Ossola, another star from Il Grande Torino, with 85 goals and his next target on that list is 1920s hero Adolfo Baloncieri with 100 goals exactly.
